11/19/03 A note from John Santo:
Helmut Kientzler, our League Co-President, has been recuperating from a lengthy hospital stay. He had a mild stroke and then had a stomach ulcer that required the removal of 60% of his stomach. He is now getting some Physical Therapy and is expected to be discharged and return home on Wednesday, 11/19. He is able to walk with a cane and is making a slow recovery. He is in good spirits and has no speech or mental issues. I am sure he would welcome some calls or cards.

9/15/03 Fall schedule posted.

8/22/03 Teams interested to in playing in the Fall on Saturday mornings should send email or call John Santo if they will definitely field a team. They must have a field available. Schedule will start Sept 20th and run for 8 weeks. No league fees are required. Home team must pay the ref.

7/23/03 Playoff rules:

• Higher seeded team gets home field advantage.
• Ref fees are split between teams.
• 1 ref for semis, 3 refs for finals.
• Playoff teams should contact each other and negotiate a mutually agreeable date.
  Its probably best to keep it on the same day of the week the division plays on, but
  this is not a requirement.
  When scheduled contact John Santo for ref assignment and web site for date/field posting.
• Playoffs can take place once division seedings are determined.

6/30/03 Renovations at 4H are done. Bridgewater teams are back at 4H.

6/4/03 Directions updated for Bethlehem. Its the same field but directions are better.

6/1/03 New Brunswick Caribbeans home games moved to Beekman Lane in Hillsborough.

New Brunswick Caribbeans and Orange74 have dropped out of the league. The O30 schedules are going to be reworked sometime next week. AT&T in the O40 division is still looking for a field.

3/31/03

• Schedules posted. During bye weeks B teams play an A team during one bye and a C team during the other bye. B teams play 14 games. A and C teams play 13 games. O40 schedules are 18 weeks.
• Schedules in O30C are the most home or away "heavy" due to 2 teams that wanted away games until June (Bethlehem and Piscataway).
• The direction pages and links are still under construction, although some should work.
• Huntderdon I O30B dropped out. They were replaced by Orange 74.

3/1/03
Summary of 2/25 meeting:

• 030 Division: divided into 3 flights of 7 teams. New teams: Flemington(A), Hillsborough(B), Clinton(C). Dropped: New Providence II, Lucent. Inter-Division games during bye weeks.
• O40 Division: 10 teams. New: Clinton 40, Flemington 40. Dropped: Hunterdon 40 II, Hunterdon 40 III.
• Over-30 Season starts 4/22 and runs for 14 weeks. Followed by 2 weeks of playoffs for top 4 teams in A, B, and C.
• Over-40 Season starts 4/24 and runs for 18 weeks. Followed by 2 weeks of playoffs for top 4 teams.
• Rules for paying refs in shortened games were reviewed. Always pay the ref. If the game doesn't finish the 1st half, ref fee will be reimbursed to home team by the league. If the ref calls the game before the start, there is no reimbursement.
• Rules for challenging age of late arriving players reviewed. If a challenge is made to a player that arrives after the game has started, they must produce a license or other proof of age before they are allowed to enter the field. If they leave their ID in their car, they must get it before entering the field.
• We'll try to get by without another meeting.
• Schedule will be made as soon as teams find out their field constraints. Please email field availability to tricounty.
• Trophies were awarded.

1/26/03

• Renewal insurance premiums should remain at $3.00/player. That means all teams will pay $60.00, based on a 20 man roster. Please make checks payable to Randall Dahme as Bene-Marc is no longer accepting multiple checks. Our policy renews 4/1/2003. If you carry over a twenty man roster you must submit $3.00 additional per player. If you have players that play on multiple teams(over 30, over 40) in our league you need only to submit one $3.00 fee per player.
• New Providence 2 (over 30A) will not be returning.

There will be a mandatory meeting for all teams on
  Tuesday, Feb 25, 7:30 PM at Bushers, Rt. 22 west, in Whitehouse
All teams should bring a check made out to TriCounty Soccer for $50 and a check for insurance premiums. Insurance fees will be posted soon. League bylaws and team placement will be decided.

Trophies for last summer and fall will be awarded. For each division there is a trophy for both the season and playoff winner.
