10/16/06 Correction: price is for indoor soccer $1050. This is $131 per game as opposed to $148 per game at the Soccer Center.

10/15/06 Central Jersey Indoor Sports Arena located just off Rt. 202 South in Flemington is available for a TRICOUNTY Indoor Soccer Season starting December 13. This will be an OVER 30 league following same rules for age concerns as the outdoor season. All games will be played on Wednesday nights at 9 & 10 PM. An 8 week season will have a fee of $1050 per team. This includes referee fees.

Teams will consist of 1 goalie and 5 field players (6v6) with subs on the fly. Games will be 25 minute halves with a short intermission. Yellow carded player must sit out for 2 minutes and NO sub. Red carded player is out for the rest of the game and team plays short. Further penalties may be assessed based on the infraction.

First 8 teams interested will form the league. If more teams want to join, will need to get a second night.

The fall season will begin on Saturday Sept. 9. All games must be scheduled between 9 and 10 AM Saturday mornings. Need at least 6 teams. As of today we have 3. No additional expense involved except referee fees and fields. Any Tricounty team may play in the fall. If interested send John a note by Sept. 1. John will create a schedule to be posted after labor day.

7/21/06 Regular season TEAM ROSTERS must be sent to John Santo jsantobrms@hotmail.com by August 1, 2006. Those teams that do not submit a roster will forfeit their playoff spot. The top 4 in each division will start the playoffs on August 22 for over 30 and August 24 for over 40. The finals will be played the week of August 28. Those teams making the playoffs will submit a second roster by August 20 which will be given to the refs for player eligability. The finals will use a 3 men officiating system. Playoff teams will split the ref fees 50/50. Referee fees will be $66 for a 1 man game and $66/30/30 for a 3 men game. Please try to get all make up games completed by Aug 20. If not John will have to decide on who makes the playoffs using other factors.

6/18/06 All teams should schedule make up games for any cancellations as soon as possible on any day of the week possible including weekends. If a field is available at any site by any team and both teams can get enough players together please play the game. Inform John as soon as a game is scheduled and a ref will be assigned.

The New York Red Bulls are interested in forming a bond with Tricounty Soccer League. They will have a Tricounty Night on Saturday July 22 at Giant Stadium where players in the league and their families will be recognized and be allowed to parade on the field at halftime of the Red Bull/Colorado Game. Print out the flyer and mail it to Ben Parry. There will not be a game vs Morris County League on 7/15. Tewksbury and Sanofi-Aventis have a field again.

Web site updated for 2006. O40 divisions same as 2005. We lost 3 O30 teams: New Providence I, Hunterdon FC, and Bethlehem. A new rule was added that allows players from a lower division to play with teams in an upper division, but NOT the inverse. Rosters must be sent to John Santo by April 15.

The Tricounty Soccer League Mandatory Meeting is Wednesday Feb. 22, 2006 at the Olde York Inn in Bridgewater 7:30 PM. A representative from each team must attend. Please provide contact and field information as well as 2 checks for each team/club. The yearly league fee per team is still $50 and the insurance fee will be determined by Randy at the meeting. Awards for the 2005 season will also be given.

The season will commence on April 25 for the over 30 divisions and on April 27 for the over 40. Realignment of the divisions will be discussed at the meeting as well as any other relevent issues pertaining to league concerns.
