9/23/09 8V8 Indoor Soccer League at Power Time Sports in Flemington. Cost $80 per player. 50 minute games. 8 week league. Over 30's. Contact Sean Palen or Ricky Bennett for registration forms. 9/7/09 Fall schedules posted. Fall season starts Sat. Sept 12, 2009. All games are scheduled for 9:30AM. All Tricounty RULES apply. Age minimum in the fall is 25. Teams in need of players should email Lee Baldwin, GBALDWIN@intersil.com or lee.baldwinjr@gmail.com. He has players available to join a team for the fall season. Both teams should send game results to tricounty@att.net after each game. 8/23/09 The fall open season will start on Sept 12, 2009. Any team that played this summer season can join. All games will be played on Saturdays at 9:30AM. The league insurance covers the fall games. A team must have a HOME field and ref fees are $70 paid by the home team. Schedule will published by Sept. 9. 8/20/09 Schedule for the Aug 22 tournament is available. 8/14/09 Playoffs page updated. With the exception of O30A, all matchups are determined. O30A will be determined on Sunday. Ref fees are split for the playoffs. In the semis, if both teams agree to pay we'll use a 3 ref system. If either team does not agree, 1 ref will be assigned. All finals will use a 3 ref system. 7/29/09 The over 40 divisions season is extended an additional week to accommodate make ups. All league standings in all divisions will be frozen at the end of day on August 16, 2009. Any game played after this date will NOT count in the standings. The top 4 teams in each division will be determined by the league bylaws. The SEMI-Finals will be played on 8/18 for the over 30s and 8/20 for the over 40s. Team 4 vs 1 and 3 vs 2. Fields to be determined with the higher seed getting first choice. Winners will play the finals the following week for the championships. 6/14/09 O48 Reschedule remade for weeks on and after 6/23. Schedule is now designed so all teams play each other 4 times, 2 home and 2 away. 6/13/09 MAKE UPS should be made up during the season on any day of the week including weekends if teams and a field are available. We will extend season to allow for as many make ups as possible. Tentative dates for playoffs are week of August 10 for over 40 and week of August 17 for over 30. 3v3 NorthEast Cup Tournament: Greater Flemington Soccer and Far Post Soccer are hosting a Kick-It 3 v. 3 Soccer Event at Lenape Park on July 11th and 12th. The event is a Regional Qualifier for those teams who are interested in advancing to the Disney Kick-It 3 v. 3 Nationals. It's a great local event fielding both Travel and Recreation brackets U8 to U18. There's also Adult Brackets! Adult division will play Saturday afternoon. 4 game minimum + possible playoffs. 6 max to a roster $150 registration fee. The first 12 teams to register will participate. Flyer with more details. Reminder! Teams need to send in a roster of their players at this time. Rosters should be emailed to jsantobrms@hotmail.com. 5/11/09 Chester/BR dropped out of the O48. Teams with the bye will fill in. The schedule is being remade. The schedule on the website is not final, but is valid for the next 3 weeks. MAKE UPS - Since we have had so many rain outs to start the season, teams should contact each other to reschedule games. Don't wait till end of season. Make ups may be played on any day of the week including weekends if teams and any field available. Branchburg United and the Shamrocks in the O30 division are looking for goalkeepers. If interested, contact the team managers on the Contacts link. 3/23/09 Schedules posted. Due to field sharing between divisions and unavailability of fields in the early part of the season, some schedules are not as symmetrical as desired. Hunterdon Soccer Club is looking for Over 48 players for the spring season. 2/25/09 Meeting Summary: A total of 19 O30 teams, including 4 new ones, and 14 O40 teams attended. We'll have a new O48 division with 5 or 6 teams. In O30 we will have either 2 divisons with 10 in A and 9 in B, or 3 divisions with 7 in A, 6 in B, and C. There was a heated discussion on rosters and player passes and age. The following motion passed: One month into the season all teams must email a roster which will be on the website and can be printed by any team. Players may be added to the roster but roster will be FROZEN about 4 weeks prior to the playoffs. Proof of age (drivers license) may be questioned at game on any player listed on roster. New player(s) can be brought to a game but must be added to the non frozen roster by next day. 2/25/09 Sky Blue is one of the teams in the new Women's Professional Soccer league. They are playing all their games in Bridgewater and Piscataway, starting April 5th. 2/5/09 Insurance Premium Update:
1/22/09 The TRICOUNTY SOCCER LEAGUE annual meeting will be held on Monday Feb. 23, 2009 7:30 PM at the Chimney Rock Inn in Bridgewater, NJ. This is for the over 30, over 40 and possibly over 48 divisions. A team MUST be represented at the meeting to enter the league in 2009. Season will commence the week of April 20, 2009. Every team must pay the annual league fee of $50 made out to Tricounty Soccer and the team Insurance fee set by our Insurance genius Randy Dahme, dahme1@earthlink.net. Trophies for the 2008 Division Winners and Playoff Championships will be awarded. Anything and everything for the good or bad of soccer can and may be put on the table. Pizza and Beer will be provided. the fall season is 9/5/08. |
