10/26/11 A player on the Clinton Town FC team was taken down with a tackle from behind last Saturday and broke his right lower leg in three places. The player had surgery and will be on crutches for three months. We all wish the player a speedy recovery. Our league was formed for the enjoyment of soccer for all particpants. Please keep this in mind during the matches. 9/10/11 Fall schedule and contacts updated. 8/15/11 The Tricounty Fall Season will begin Sept. 10, 2011. All games will be played Saturday mornings at 9:30AM. Season will be 10 weeks. Any team/players playing this summer season are eligible to play in the fall. Can enter as a team or join another team entered. All teams must have a home field. Teams will also have a $74 ref fee for all home games. Age limit as per Tricounty rules. Referee fees have been increased to $74 for over 30 games and $70 for over 40 and 48 games. 2/22/11 Insurance premiums for 2011 will be $10.50/player. Teams MUST make payments at the 2/28 meeting with a check payable to "Bene-Marc", or they will be contacting the broker and submitting their paperwork and premiums by themselves. No payment at the meeting means you will not get your certificates in a timely manner to secure fields. Randy will not be accepting any insurance money after the meeting since this turns into a quagmire. Due to a $1.00/player increase, team insurance payments will be $20-25 higher than last year. 2/5/11 The agenda for the 2/28 meeting:
1/11/11 The Tricounty annual meeting is set for Monday Feb. 28 at 7:30PM Chimney Rock Inn, Bridgewater. Every team that wants to enter must have a representative. Over 30 and over 40 divisions will be discussed. A league fee of $50 for the 2011 season for each team will be collected. A team MUST have a HOME field. Sharing of fields is welcomed. Insurance payment and agenda items to follow. The 2011 season will start April 26 for the over 30, over 48 and April 28 for over 40. Regular season will run for 15 weeks through first week in August. We'll have 1 to 2 weeks of make ups, and complete playoffs by September 2, 2011. |
